Erica Fox

Audio Engineer & Technician

About

Erica Fox is an audio technician with a passion for the theatrical entertainment industry, including touring, and a long-term goal of sharing her love for theatre within educational spaces. She earned her BFA in Theatrical Design & Technology from the University of Central Florida, where she cultivated a strong foundation in theatrical audio through hands-on experience across a wide range of productions and venues.

At Theatre UCF, Erica developed skills in equipment maintenance and repair, line-by-line mixing, troubleshooting, and operating in high-pressure environments. Her credits include Sound Designer for As You Like It and A2 for Bright Star. She also contributed to UCF Celebrates the Arts, serving as A1 for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and TECH-nique: A Dance Concert, and A2 for Shrek: The Musical. Erica supported original student-written works that were featured in the 2023 Orlando Fringe Festival, and worked rental gigs with Orlando Family Stage.

Following graduation, she completed an Audio Internship at The REV Theatre Co. in Auburn, NY, where she served as A2 for Jersey Boys, Newsies, Bandstand, and May We All, and mixed as A1 for a special concert performance by the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Erica went on to tour with Pace Live Entertainment as the Touring Sound Lead, overseeing all audio needs—including system setup and operation—for their national productions of A Taste of Ireland and A Celtic Christmas.

She is currently based in Central Florida, working as an Entertainment Technician at Walt Disney World.
