I also trained the A2 to mix the show for the understudy performance who had no prior experience. Two Venues One Show
After a performance in the Pugh Theater within the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts the production continues for an additional 5 performances on the Theatre UCF mainstage, including 1 understudy performance. With the change of venue and cast there was a need to reset the soundscapes and effects in the new space as well as account for the change in sound equipment from 2 boom mics in the Pugh to 13 lavalier mics with custom hair and ear rigs. Throughout the limited rehearsals in the new space Erica also trained 2 new sound student on the basics of mixing and qlab operating to be able to operate in the case that Erica was absent.

Erica was in control of mixing a 47 person cast and a 43 input band with scene by scene control of eq, reverb, and delay. With the complicated transitions and quickness of some ensemble songs Erica made sure to go to some rehearsal run of the show to get used to the pace of the song with the cast especially with limited runs during tech.
