Erica Fox

Audio Engineer & Technician

About

Erica Fox is an audio technician with a passion for pursuing a career in the theatrical entertainment industry, including touring, with the hopes of one day sharing her passion for theatre with the next generation within educational spaces. She earned her BFA in Theatrical Design & Technology from the University of Central Florida, where she honed her skills across a diverse range of theatrical productions and venues. At Theatre UCF, Erica gained extensive experience in building and repairing audio equipment, precise line-by-line mixing, troubleshooting, and thriving in professional settings. Notable roles include serving as Sound Designer for "As You Like It" and A2 for "Bright Star".

Beyond her academic achievements, Erica has applied her expertise in various professional capacities, such as her pivotal roles in UCF's Celebrates the Arts events. She excelled as A1 for productions like "Sweeney Todd" and "TECH-nique: A Dance Concert," and as A2 for "Shrek: The Musical." Her dedication to the arts extends to collaborating on new student-written works, some of which have been showcased at the Orlando Fringe Festival 2023. Erica also has experience in rental gigs at the Orlando Family Stage.

Following her graduation from UCF, Erica embarked on an Audio Internship at the REV Theatre Co. in Auburn, NY, where she served as A1 for the Glenn Miller Orchestra and A2 for productions including "Jersey Boys," "Newsies," and "Bandstand."
